The SKP-CENTRUM public benefit company is currently the largest provider of social services in the Pardubice region. It provides a wide range of residential, outpatient and outreach social services in this region, some of which are unique in their place of operation and have no other alternative provider.
SKP-CENTRUM, o.p.s. provides 19 services, Home HeatlhCare and implements European projects.
THE MISION OF SKP-CENTRUM
The mission of the organization SKP-CENTRUM, o.p.s., is to HELP THOSE IN NEED and individuals at risk of social exclusion: seniors, people with disabilities, individuals in crisis and homelessness, victims of domestic violence, children and young adults without functional family backgrounds, and members of minorities. We operate an efficient and interconnected system of social services for them. We have been active in the social services market since 1992. Tradition obliges us.

Our activities have a wide scope. We perceive social work as an activity focused on the whole society. We work with clients to strengthen the competencies needed for everyday life or to acquire these competencies. Our preventive work concerning society aims to mitigate socially pathological phenomena and thus prevent the social exclusion of our clients. We strive to remove barriers that could negatively affect clients' integration into everyday life.

Simeon Home – Respite ServiceHome for People with Disabilities

Simeon Home assists families caring for a loved one with reduced self-sufficiency. For a designated period, it takes over and provides appropriate care, especially when the family is unable to look after their loved one for some reason. This service gives caregivers time for necessary rest or to address their own issues.

The mission of Simeon Home in Horní Jelení—a home for people with disabilities is to provide residential services to individuals who have reduced self-sufficiency due to a disability and whose situation requires regular assistance from another person.
The services are provided in a way that maintains or even enhances the existing skills and abilities of the service users. With respect to each individual's level of self-sufficiency, Simeon Home ensures care that includes attention to both the physical and mental well-being of the person, as well as support in helping the service user engage in social activities.

Home healthcare is a non-state medical facility registered with the Pardubice Regional Office. The indication and scope of services are determined by a general practitioner or the attending physician upon discharge from a medical facility. Professionally conducted medical procedures are covered by public health insurance and are free of charge for the patient.

Sanctuary for Women and Mothers with Children in Vysoké Mýto

The mission of the Shelter for Women and Mothers with Children in Vysoké Mýto, operated by SKP-CENTRUM, o.p.s., is to provide accommodation, assistance, and support to women, mothers with children, and families with minor children who are in adverse life situations for a necessary period, typically not exceeding one year. The shelter helps them integrate into normal life and reduce the risk of social exclusion.
City Sanctuary for Women and Mothers with Children in Pardubice

The City sanctuary helps both childless women and women with children navigate difficult life periods when they have lost their homes, are without financial resources, and lack support from a partner, family, or friends.

Crisis assistance provides shelter, psychological, and material support to women and mothers with children who find themselves in a crisis situation. It is offered for a limited period of 4 days and includes crisis intervention, social counseling, as well as food and hygiene services.
Low-threshold Facility for Children and Youth EMKO

The mission of the Low-Threshold Facility for Children and Youth EMKO is to offer assistance, advice, and support to children and young people aged 6 to 26 from Vysoké Mýto and the surrounding areas in managing difficult life situations. The staff provides a safe place where clients can spend their free time and develop their own activities. Through a diverse range of leisure activities, providing information, and offering professional support and assistance, the staff helps alleviate their situation. Activities, advice, and support are provided by staff both in the club and outside on the street.

The Low-Threshold Facility for Children and Youth, Free Club, offers professional help and support to children and young people who are experiencing or are at risk of facing difficult life situations. The foundation of our work is building a trusting relationship and providing a safe environment. We create a diverse range of preventive and leisure activities, focusing on identifying and developing the client's strengths.
Streetwork as Low-threshold Facility for Children nad Youth – Free club

The Outreach Program at the Free Club, operating under the Low-Threshold Facility for Children and Youth, works within the natural environment of its clients, such as housing estates, parks, and playgrounds. We seek out and engage with children and young adults who are experiencing difficult life situations or are at risk of such situations. We offer these individuals help and support. The foundation of our work, aimed at improving the client’s situation, is building a trusting relationship and providing a safe environment. Our work focuses particularly on identifying and developing the client’s strengths.
Support for the Roma community in Moravská Třebová

The project focuses on establishing community work in the town of Moravská Třebová. As part of the project, a Community Club for the target group will be restored and operated, direct support will be provided to the target group in the form of counseling and competency strengthening, and community activities and events will be organized. Members of the target group will actively participate in the operation of the Community Club and in the implementation of these activities and events. Furthermore, the project will establish intensive collaboration with the city's social services department, educational institutions for children and youth, and other relevant stakeholders.
Socially Excluded Roma Localities Ústí nad Orlicí

The mission of the Outreach Program in Ústí nad Orlicí operated by SKP-CENTRUM, o.p.s., is to actively seek out and engage with residents over the age of 18 living in socially excluded areas, to assist them in the process of social inclusion, and to support them in addressing their current adverse social situations.

The mission of the Intervention Center at SKP-CENTRUM, o.p.s., is to enable individuals at risk of domestic violence and dangerous stalking in the Pardubice Region to put an end to violent behavior. We provide professional assistance and support in social, psychological, and legal matters.

Program NENA – A Home Without Violence is designed to enhance the safety of all family members, including children. Participants in the program learn to recognize the causes of their violent behavior. Together with a special education therapist, they seek a way out of the cycle of violence. Gradually, they develop a better understanding of their actions and behaviors that have contributed to problems in their lives. Given the maximum of five sessions, the goal is not a deep personal transformation but rather insight, reflection, and awareness.
The target group continues to include individuals at risk of domestic violence. By expanding our services, we aim to support the entire family system affected by domestic violence.
The NENA program is intended for women and men over the age of 18 who struggle with aggression in relationships and are motivated to change their behavior.

The mission of the service is to provide crisis intervention with the goal of stabilizing an emerging difficult life situation and strengthening the client's ability to seek further solutions through psychological and social support. The service is offered to individuals who find themselves in situations perceived as stressful, adverse, and threatening, which they are unable to manage on their own.

The mission of the Resocialization Program is to provide support to adolescents in managing the complex life situations they encounter during their transition to adulthood. The program helps young people find their place in life, become aware of themselves within the context of their family and peer relationships, integrate into everyday life, and enter the job market. It offers clients positive behavioral models and information, serving as a preventive measure against the influence of socially pathological behaviors. Clients acquire social habits and skills that lead to self-sufficiency and a responsible approach to life.

The mission of the Halfway House SKP-CENTRUM, o.p.s., located in Pardubice, is to support young people who find themselves in difficult life situations through the activities offered, helping them actively participate in making changes that will lead to independence and success in their own lives. This service is intended for young people aged 18 to 26.

The mission of the Men's Shelter Home, SKP-CENTRUM, o.p.s. in Pardubice is to provide services to adult men who find themselves in difficult life situations, typically related to the loss of housing. We offer conditions to meet basic life needs, with our help and support focused on reintegration into mainstream society.

The mission of the Outreach Program at the Low-Threshold Day Center is to actively seek out and contact individuals, primarily those who are homeless or at risk of losing their housing, aged 18 and older, and, if they are interested, to offer them help and support in addressing their current difficult life situations. Contact with these individuals takes place in their natural environment within the city of Pardubice, every weekday.
Housing Support Services in Moravská Třebová

The mission of the Social Rehabilitation Service is to provide both outpatient and outreach assistance to help individuals achieve the highest possible level of independence and self-sufficiency in housing-related matters (such as obtaining, maintaining, and preventing the loss of housing and social exclusion). This is achieved by strengthening the necessary competencies of users through targeted and professional support, as well as training in housing-related activities.
Housing Support in Moravská Třebová

The project focuses on creating a social housing system in Moravská Třebová and on the work of a multidisciplinary team whose goal is to systematically secure housing for individuals who have limited or no access to it. Through the Housing Contact Center and its advisory services, the housing situations of households will be addressed to prevent them from falling into homelessness. Additionally, through the role of the Social Real Estate Broker, individuals from the target group will be assisted in entering the housing market.
